Approximately 11 Million New Domain Names Were Registered In The Fourth Quarter Of 2009

Approximately 11 million new domain names were registered in the fourth quarter of 2009, an eight percent increase in new registrations from the third quarter of 2009 according to VeriSign’s latest Domain Name Industry Brief. I dont know about you but that to me is a huge amount.

Microsoft Forced To Offer New Users The Chance To Change Browsers

The European Commission has ruled that Microsoft will have to begin offering its users a choice when it come to internet browsers. Microsoft announced that over the next few week it will be offering a “Web browser choice screen” that will offer users the choice of other internet browsers. This includes Safari, Firefox, Opera and Google Chrome.

Tesco To Launch Record Label

Not content with taking over the world and selling us everything under the sun from free range organic chickens, to cheap TV’s, Tesco have launched a record label and a new site to pedal their wares Tesco Entertainment.
