The Google Street View tool is a fantastic piece off kit, I must admit I am addicted to it. If you haven’t yet played with this then I suggest you set some time aside to have a look. You can take a virtual drive over the Golden Gate Bridge or even view what is going on in Time Square.

Until recently this tool has only been available with images taken by the Google car, hence the name street view. If the car couldn’t drive down it then it couldn’t photograph it.

That is about to change with the introduction of the Google trike to take Street View, well off the street. Have a look a the below video to learn more.
